There are many types of memorial tattoos, but I’d like to make a simple suggestion. When choosing a tattoo to remember one who has past, do not dwell on your sadness. The tattoo will carry this energy through your life and when seen will only remind you of their death. Instead, memorialize their life and your affection for them with a piece of permanent art that will remind you of the good times and reassure you that life is precious, beautiful and too short to live in the shadow of death.
